With better offensive line play, I'm confident in Bam and Carter carrying the load until Hall is back to form.

Jets coach Robert Saleh said Breece Hall (knee) "looks fantastic" and ESPN's Rich Cimini writes Hall is "expected to be ready for Week 1."
Keep in mind that as of January, Hall was aiming for a training camp return and that appears to now be off the table, as Cimini writes that it "appears unlikely" Hall will participate in camp. Hall should be considered questionable for Week 1 after tearing his ACL on October 23rd. Michael Carter, Zonovan Knight, and Ty Johnson will split workloads in training camp and preseason at the very least. Hall is more likely to help in the second half of the 2023 fantasy season given how cautiously he'll be worked in early.

How does “expected to be ready for week 1” translate to “won’t be ready for camp”?

Was there something else Saleh said that wasn’t quoted? He doesn’t need to be 100% by Day 1 of camp to play week 1.

Gotta be fluent in Salehspeak

"He's expected to be ready for week one" = "This guy's knee is fucked"

"I'm not worried about Elijah, he's one of our high character guys" = "Elijah Moore is a dangerous psychopath"

"He's played his tail off" = "Greg Van Roten is dogshit"

"Any update on Becton?"  "No." = "I will raise my legion of children to hate Mekhi with the fury of a thousand suns"

Robert Saleh says Jets RB Breece Hall "looks strong and poweful" as he is already hitting over 22 on the GPS. Said they're optimistic he will be ready for Week 1's matchup against the Bills.

He's in the best shape of his career.

This has really given him time to work on his throwing motion.
