Nah, a lot of us want Hall.  He'd help the offense a lot.

Reloading my best available for the Jets (by position).

LB Dean- he’s the best football player out there, but idk if his physical profile matches what we want at LB.

LB Anderson- the opposite of Dean. Still developing and played on a small stage,  it he’s exactly what I think we want in our LBs, with length and speed.

LB Harris- I don’t think he has any really elite traits, but he can upgrade Q Williams as a run and hit guy.

LB Bonitto- this would be a rotational option for a year while we develop him as a standup, but he’s an elite passrusher who I think can be a really good standup LB with his instincts and aggressiveness.

S Pitre- Versatile with slot production, but also really smooth in space and physical coming forward. I think Joe and Rob would love him.

S Brisker- more of your standard fair safety with a high floor.

DT Jones- big powerful tackle who realistically would open up a lot of opportunities for the rest of the DL. He needs work, but the Jets staff would have seen him very closely at the combine, so they’d know how far away he is. He also whooped Cole Strange at the practices all week.

DT Winfrey- plays violent and urgent football, which I’m sure they loved seeing at the senior bowl, but a super tight athlete.

OT Petit Frere- I think he’s a first round talent at tackle. Held his own against every passrusher thrown at him.I’d definitely take him or Abe Lucas over Raimann, who has potential but is so raw at this point that I wouldn’t risk it with so much talent available. If it’s Kennard or Rhyan, they have inside/outside swing potential.

IOL Cam Jurgens- another interior mauler. I think he’s better than Cole Strange and could probably push McGovern to an immediate swing interior role.

RB Breece Hall- I could see them liking a runner like Hall a lot for this offense. He reminds me of Arian Foster with how he’s able to make cuts with real subtle movements and not lose speed. I personally would wait on RB, but he’s legit.

I would like for one of those to be OT insurance.

JD said they're pretty excited by some of the remaining players, but I'm wondering if the guys they're focused on are gone by 38 they might trade down.

I think he's gonna parlay that 38th pick into some extra later ones.

I hope not. We don't need to fill out our roster with projects, we have lots of those. We need to add elite players at key positions and all being well we've just done exactly that. Now do it again at 38.

i'm not ruling out another trade up from 38 if they love another player.  JD has the ammo.

I agree, I'd rather have quality.  But if he has several players clustered together on the board, nothing wrong with trading back a few spots and collecting a late round stab at a player, or punter. I'd rather trade up a few spots and get a better player.

The teams biggest needs right now are
Lb
Rb
O line

Dean would be great in the 2nd, but there are also alot of other options on the table at LB where if we missed out on him and were able to upgrade those 3rds or 4ths I would not be upset in the slightest.

DT and safety are both nice to haves in my eyes.

DE seems like a luxury in the 2nd
