2022 Day 2 options
« on: April 28, 2022, 10:56:41 PM »
We have 38 and 101.

Nakobe Dean
Boye Mafe
Jaquan Brisker
Travis Jones
Arnold Ebikitie
Bernard Raimann
Jalen Pitre
Breece Hall
Kenneth Walker III
Christian Harris
Roger McCreary
Perrion Winfrey
Nick Petit-Frere

Good spot for us to move down a few spots from 38, most likely.

I know I'm probably alone, but I'd be pretty hyped if we got Hall

He's my favorite option at 38. I don't trust Carter to carry the load alone and if he gets hurt we have nothing at RB. Let's help Zach as much as possible. We spent 2 1sts on defense, now get one more weapon.

i don't know if i can feel comfortable at this point in time with the team taking the luxury of picking a running back in the second round (lol), but so long as we get a starter quality prospect i won't complain

We need so much, it’s not time (yet) to spend a high pick on a back. I really expect Pierre Strong to be one of our 4th rounders.

Need a new one for a new board...

Add Cam Jurgens to that group. If we want to replace McGovern (which we definitely do… I just don’t know that it’s THE priority that’s next) he will be high on our list

If we don't grab a RB I also expect to grab Strong with one of the early 4ths.

I don't really agree that it's not time to spend a high pick on a back though. We're not spending a 1st, outside of TE I don't see much else on offense that would be worth it either. I like Carter as a complementary guy but grabbing a RB1 like Hall could do wonders for this offense imo

Next year is the time to spend a 2 on a back after two years of selecting (hopefully) solid mid round backs. Sean Tucker feels like he could be that guy in the mid 2nd - 3rd round to put us over the top.

Nah, a lot of us want Hall.  He'd help the offense a lot.
He shook my hand breed tub and walked away

That little safety run at the end of the 1st sucked. I really liked Cine.

Count me in the Hall or Nakobe Dean camp, wholeheartedly agree with Libero though that Nakobe probably doesn't last past the Giants.

I was thinking about this. I think their LB will be Christian Harris.

Daboll has big ties to Alabama. Wink Martindale is coming from the Ravens, and would anyone be surprised if he wanted his version of Patrick Queen?

Well guess who Christian Harris' spidergraph is similar to? He compares favorably (in terms of Metrics) to Patrick Queen with a 76% match. I wouldn't be shocked at all, if Harris' is their guy. Then again I also have been day dreaming about Dean since the Playoff Semifinal against Cincinnati, so that may be coloring my vision a bit here. But whatever we have to do to go get that guy, please just freaking do it.
