Yep. And as a result of that win, we're stuck with a cornerback instead of Aidan Hutchinson.

YOU BETTER STOP IT RIGHT NOW

You brought it up, not me!

I hope Sauce is the next Darrelle Revis. The more I watched and studied him, the more I liked. You can make a strong case he's the best player available. The Jets don't have many great players, so hopefully Sauce can be one.

He's Revis with Cromartie's physical talent.

And if anyone is quoting this post a few years from now to make fun of it please DIAF

In a perfect world, we will be quote-tweeting all of us laughing at KT for being a bust with the Giants as Sauce is the best CB in the NFL.

it's obvious JD wanted a high talent guy at a premium position with good character/no baggage. basically a sure thing at 4 over a possible wild card

i think KT's personality 'issues' were definitely overblown but they were enough to have him take sauce over KT

From what I heard pre-draft Sauce is a super safe character bet. Doesn't drink/smoke/party/shill NFTs/etc. and just wants to be a great football player

This is a fine pick. Really wanted Thibodeaux there, but so much prefer Sauce to O-line or JJ.

he's going to be great, but it feels like we're never going to hit on a high pick EDGE in my life

Yeah, feeling exactly this

i actually love the player and love the pick. i value the DE/EDGE more but could see why JD would opt for a move like this even before tonight.

we're going to have some good options at 10. if we hit at that pick, it's a very satisfying 1st round

Gardner is...
- 6'3" 190
- Great speed
- Great production
- Great character
- Has some swag that could make him a star in NY/NJ

As a player, I love him. Just wish we got the pass rusher.
