Jerry Rice's son (Brendan) is transferring from Colorado to USC.

He's pretty good.

Lincoln Riley is loading up.  Replaced Drake London with Mario Williams and Brendan Rice, and he's likely going to get Caleb Williams through the transfer portal as well.

The PAC 12 might actually be relevant again.

Not sure that's a great replacement and he's probably a bit old for college now.

Oklahoma commits are dropping like flies.  Riley is flipping them to USC.

Only putting this here because there doesn’t seem to be a ‘high school’ thread.

This monster is 14….well supposedly 14.

To be fair, him being heavier than Donald doesn’t mean much. They keep saying that like it’s mind blowing and Donald is the biggest human ever. Kids clearly a crazy athlete and future d1 football player, but I noticed a distinct lack of discussion about football awards he’s received for his prowess on the field to go with his athleticism

The Big Ten (BIG) signed a 7-year, $7.5B TV deal after securing the 2nd largest TV market (in 2024) with the addition of USC/UCLA which averages out to $1.07B per year, topping the SEC's current $880M per year deal which is expected to go up once TX & OK join.   <-----and that is one poorly constructed run-on sentence.

By comparison, the ACC's getting around $380M per year....

Amen.

Besides the regional/geographical rivalries wrecked, as if 'Southeast' Texas & Okla. weren't enough of a stretch, two Los Angeles-based institutions in essentially a midwest conference is a joke.  While UCLA will use it to get out from under their current $100M deficit, the  remaining Pac-12 schools are not surprisingly going to take a financial hit (per Cal-Berkeley Bd. of Regents).  Being older than dirt, I recall the SWC and the original Big 8 - Texas school rivalries (plus Ark.) and the annual Nebraska-Okla. game were lost respectively.
