Do we know yet who's going to be doing the actual coaching for us? I'm guessing it will be Ron Middleton running the show given he was our interim HC when Saleh was quarantined?

It's OK, we didn't want them anyway. They all sound excrement.

My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

I was really hoping we'd get Tindall too

Lloyd is definitely the best LB in Mobile, so that's cool

I don't know anything about Troy Andersen.  You have to be a standout if you make the Senior Bowl roster from Montana State.

I'll check him out today.

Sterling Weatherford being listed as a linebacker is cool.  He played safety at Miami(OH).

That's obviously the kind of player we targeted in the later rounds last year (Nasirildeen and Sherwood).

Considering that strategy hasn't panned out (yet) do you think they'd keep doing it? I'm not sure how many S->LB projects we want to have on the roster.

I'd be OK swinging again in the later rounds, especially after losing Sherwood to a significant injury.

We have to give that kind of player some time to develop.  I think the biggest issue we had with 2021's S to LB converts is that they had to play right away.

They were 5th and 6th round picks, so hard to make any concrete conclusions, especially when both had a lot of injuries.

We should try to keep taking swings there, or look at current NFL safeties that can make that move. The only tricky thing with that for us is that the Patriots seem to be going more of a smash-mouth direction, so safeties at LB could hurt in that matchup. But in general, having as many guys on the field who can run and cover is ideal.
