At the risk of doing a Deadspin I would say that 12 of our 23 coaching staff are non white, which seems pretty representative to me.

Nope, all 23 coaches.  Hell, let's hire a few potential minority HCs from this year that didn't get jobs and give them some sort of job title.  Pay them until they say yes.  We need a minimum 3-4 minority hires next year so we can get 6-8 3rd rounders.  All gords.

Some interesting insight into how the process works. Apparently the two rosters are pre-set prior to coaches being selected and the higher drafting team gets to select the roster they want first. then there are some negotiations and apparently trades of players have been made in the past. In this case 1 trade was made. The guy refused to divulge players/positions or which team (Jets/Lions) had requested the trade. He did say that players are usually 1 for 1 or 2 for 2, he did joke if you wanted Georgia bulldog that might have been a 7 for 1 kind of trade.
