Flores takes the fall for Grier taking Tua over Herbert

I'm happy to see him out of Miami.  He's very good with lots of potential.

I think Jacksonville and Miami are in a race for Bill O'Brien.

O'Brien to Miami means Deshaun Watson likely comes in with him.

The decision to fire Flores can be summed up with one word: Relationships. His relationship with Grier and Tua had deteriorated to a pretty bad place. Along with constant staff changes, owner Steve Ross no longer saw Flores as a healthy fit in Miami.

I'd be shocked if Flores doesn't wind up getting one of the HC vacancies currently out there.

I like this idea. I mean, I don't like it one bit, but I think it makes a lot of sense.

It probably means that Tua ends up in Houston, which in turn means that Flores doesn't.

Flores will land on his feet somewhere.  He seemed like a team builder and I'm pretty confident that his players loved him.

Sounds like Ross sided with Grier here and that's why the Dolphins will continue to stink.

Rappaport was saying Flores was a big reason why Watson wanted Miami.  I hope his firing changes Watson's mind.

After Frazier and Zimmer I imagine they're in "want a coach from the offensive side" mode. Which I know doesn't make sense logically, but it is how teams often operate.

I was going to mention this, but then Spielman was also fired.  So it will depend on what their new GM decides to do.
