For those familiar with Sean Payton, it shouldn’t be a surprise that he took this seriously (well, at least mostly seriously). After losing to the Porcupines 38-6 in the regular season, Payton enlisted the help of some rather noteworthy former NFL coaches to help devise a plan that could slow down Springtown Orange’s offense. It didn’t work: Payton’s Warriors lost 58-18.

After the game, a gracious Payton spoke to both teams. “We spent all week, we talked to Bill Parcells and Jon Gruden and asked them how to defend the single wing,” said Payton. “You have no idea how much time we spent."

edit: too slow

There was a team a town over from where I used to coach that runs the double wing offense.  They have the kids run it all through Pop Warner, middle school, and then a more complex version at the high school level.

They are 79-5 since 2015.  Won 5 of 7 state championships, lost one in a huge upset and the other was to a private school that recruits players from all over the southeast.  The head coach is a Hall of Famer.  He's only lost 20 or so games in his career.  His two losing seasons were when they have Kelly Bryant (former Clemson QB) and they tried to run an Air Raid offense.  He got pissed, went back to the double wing, and Bryant transferred to a powerhouse Air Raid (that we upset in the playoffs - picked him off 4 times).

It's a badass offense.

They should have brought in Gregg Williams to pay the kids to beat the excrement out the other team before the game.

Two gross football movies in the span of a year.  Maybe Draft Day will drop a surprise sequel to complete the trifecta.

I don't want him.  I'd take Ramcyzk, Peat, or Armstead though.

Lattimore too.

I would give them #10 for 2 of the 4 and their 1 this year and 2 next year. They get cap relief and a pick to pump the rebuild, we trade down and grab two expensive but exceptional vets that would help us start playing winning freaking football. Assuming we netted one of the tackles, we likely then would trade Fant for something to get some salary back and some minor compensation all things considered.
Need a new one for a new board...

Armstead's in his 30s now, I'm not giving up much for him. Ramczyk and Peat are both good players but both signed new long term contracts last year with massive bonuses so trading either one actually doesn't save the Saints much money because all of their bonus accelerates to the 2022 cap. Also, I don't know if Peat has ever played on the right side, and we already have an outstanding left guard.

#Vikings are hiring Browns VP of Football Operations Kwesi Adofo-Mensah as their GM, per @AdamSchefter. A Princeton graduate, Adofo-Mensah worked on Wall Street before getting into the NFL in 2013. He's worked closely with Andrew Berry & has been touted as "super, super bright."

Browns will get two 3rd round picks for this hire. 1 in 2022 and 1 in 2023.

I wonder if two teams can collude and just constantly exchange POC to get a ton of draft picks

It's a unique system
