The good news is that we hopefully have QB1, OT1, 1 edge rusher, competent young CBs, and a very good young WR, so we aren't in terrible shape at the premium positions anymore. This could all change if Wilson or Becton disappoints, or Lawson gets hurt again, or the cornerbacks look more like CB4s than CB2s next year, but for now, we have some guys at some of the more premium positions we can count on.

Our most dire needs are probably tight end, linebacker, safety, and running back, and those are all positions you can draft later if you want, or you can draft early if you think you have a superstar prospect.

We could potentially get young guys who can compete for starting jobs at several positions for us on Day 2, especially if we trade down from one of our 1st-rounders.

Everyone knows how I feel about running back.  We need to add another body there (a power back), but I think our staff likes Carter, Coleman, and Johnson/Walter.  It isn't a big need in this offense.  It never has been and never will be.

If any of them get replaced, it's likely Tevin Coleman.

Linebacker is our biggest need.  Get an actual linebacker, not a safety convert, and let him learn from CJ Mosley.

Replacing Maye is also important, but I think that'll be done by a committee in FA and hopefully later picks.  Saleh comes from teams that spent high picks on safety though:  Earl Thomas and Jimmie Ward were both first rounders.  Wouldn't be surprised if we move back into the first for Daxton Hill.

I am still really curious what Saleh thinks about Kyle Hamilton. I don't think I'm ready for a safety in the top 10, but a chess piece like Hamilton could be exactly what Saleh wants. He clearly likes the oversized safeties as linebackers. Ward and Thomas are more traditional safeties.

I don't want any players who are coming off injuries anymore.  Bring a bat to interviews and just wail on the prospects; the ones that bleed are off the board.

Bryce Hall?

Word is he survived the batting interview.  Spit out a molar and said, "freak you."  Had to take him.

Could have avoided Blake Cashman.

If anyone took a bat to Blake Cashman, he'd probably explode.

I would like to see someone test this theory.

Tremendous effort by DL Travon Walker #44. If he doesn’t make this play, it might be a TD and Alabama has the lead going into halftime.

275-pounders shouldn’t be able to move like #44. 1st round talent, 1st round effort.
