Given that Hinch and Cora are back, you wonder if they just follow the OG plan and bring in Beltran.

I'd think long and hard about either Ron Washington or Buck if I were them though. Get an experienced guy in the role after Callaway and Rojas.

My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

Mets GM Billy Eppler told Matz’s agent Rob Martin he was upset. Mets thought they’d have a final chance and didn’t get it. Word from Matz camp is he had a late change of heart,

Never a good look when a 4/5 starter spurns you, upsets you, and he wasn't that great to begin with.

I’m not happy this morning . I’ve never seen such unprofessional behavior exhibited by a player’s agent.I guess words and promises don’t matter.

Despite the Mets having had relatively recent success compared to the Jets, being a Mets fan currently feels 100x more depressing to me.

There's rumors the Jays may go after Comforto. I like this.

He's a good player coming off a bad 2021, I fully expect he'll be back around that .800-950 OPS with 25-35 HR pace next year.

We're pretty strong at the OF position already....but i'd like to get rid of Grichuk, and Comforto would be a nice upgrade.

Yeah, Conforto should be an upgrade over Grichuk. I'm really curious where Seiya Suzuki ends up, a corner outfielder who probably profiles relatively similar to Conforto with better plate discipline and better defense.

Just posted this week, I think Mets need to either go hard for him or to resign Conforto, I don't think they're signing any FA with a QO attached.

Max Scherzer, 3 years/130 mil.

He's definitely getting injured.
