Does this qualify?

Absolutely.  And I'm assuming you guys will have a dedicated car for the kid?  AKA not that one?

Im all for buying american, but who the hell would want to buy anything made from Detriot?

Its one of the biggest excrement holes in this country.

Give me a car from Ohio or something.

Speaking of cars though, was pretty suprised to see a Masareti commercial during the superbowl.

Would have bet it was a Chrysler commercial

Nothing beats German engineering for a good drive.  Nothing beats cars from Japan for reliability and longevity.

Facts are facts.

My Audi was incredibly dangerous to drive, as attempting to do so immediately put me to sleep due to it being such a monumentally dull car. Conversely my TVR (handbuilt in Britain with an American engine) was far, far more fun to drive than any of the German cars I owned.

Facts are facts.

I'm gonna be rockin a ford soon. Fiesta ST, fun little hot hatch for the back roads. Nice gas mileage for the long drives. Ford has been good for a few years now.

Yea freak Ford.

Lol

They waited till the collapse to make good cars.

But glad you all get go jump onboard their revival

I uh, drive a beat up 2001 Camry. It costs me almost no money and gets me places without breaking. And I don't like knowing more about cars because it reinforces my awareness of how much money I don't have.

Why would I care how shitty they were back then anymore? They got restructured and now make good stuff. A bunch of shitty cars I never owned mean nothing to me.

A good friend moved to Michigan to be a research/dev engineer for Toyota. Less than three years out of undergrad and he's looking to buy a nice four bedroom 'starter' house with no mortgage. But he only gets to see the ocean when he's flying out to either coast with his copious vacation time. Hah.

Drove a friend home after the Super Bowl yesterday.  He currently drives a 328i.  Apparently he emailed my dealer today to schedule a time to go talk Fusion lol
