My understanding is that they are shutting down the worst performing stores and expanding the more profitable franchises. If every single McDonald's were to fail tomorrow their real estate value alone can hold them up for another decade easy

Their real estate is quite valuable. Every now and again they will get activist shareholders (large hedge funds) that will buy up huge amounts of shares and try and get McDonalds to spin off the real estate component of the company. There was a guy that did that with Sear and Kmart and made a small fortune. Only that idiot kept those 2 companies and is losing his shirt running them.

wpXI – Talk about mystery meat: A new report claims your hot dog or veggie dog may have an unintended “special ingredient” – human DNA. The veggie dog may have an unintended “special ingredient” – human DNA. Clear Food, a food-analysis company, recently examined 345 hot dogs and sausages. According to the report, the company found human DNA in 2 percent of the products tested. “Two-thirds of the human DNA samples were vegetarian samples,” the study adds. The report also notes that more than 14 percent of the samples, which came from 75 brands and 10 different retailers, “were problematic in some way.”  That’s not the only bad news. The report goes on to say that researchers found traces of meat in 10 percent of the “vegetarian” products. But all is not lost for frank fanatics. Clear Food gave a shout-out to the brands that fared best in their test, including Butterball, McCormick, Eckrich, Hebrew National and Gardein. Meanwhile, Oscar Mayer’s Premium Jumbo Beef Franks took the title of top dog, described as “high quality and good value in a high-visibility national brand.”

If a random eyelash or skin cell fell off someone's hand, that would be human DNA.  Depends what the sensitivity of the test is.  Also, I hope "DNA" isn't their way of nicely saying jizz.  Then it's a problem.

Also, everyone should know hotdogs are nasty.

The Works is generally awful anyway. They have about 140 different burgers on their menu and all bar about six are hideous sounding combinations that no-one would order, they're just there to enable them to boast about how many different ones they have. The burgers themselves are at best unremarkable, and they insist on serving drinks in pyrex measuring jugs because look how clever and edgy they are. freak off and bring me a drink in a glass you freaking plebs, you might live in a freaking trailer but I don't.
