Got some pears from my dad, his friend has a tree. Ate the first one yesterday, it was fine. Started eating the second one, got halfway through it and tasted something bitter. Noticed a brown hollow area in it. Went to the kitchen and started cutting it out when a grub about 3 mm long crawled out of it.

I did not finish the pear.
