Only thing I found was that he struggled the last week and change.
Nobody in the beat seems to know why either. Maybe they need to make a determination on who to cut and want to give some of these guys extra snaps
I’d buy that, except if we are keeping a 6th/7th WR he needs to earn his stripes on ST. Jeff Smith, Vyncint Smith and Braxton Berrios ability as a WR is irrelevant to their role on this team as far as the week 1 roster is concerned. None of those guys should play any snaps at WR this season without massive injuries happening.
That said the only other thing I can think of, is they want one of these guys to be a backup player in the role they want Moore to play. And that’s the reason Vyncint got reps with the 1s last week and Jeff got them this week.
