Bratwurst is the play here...but currywurst is intriguing.

I'm not sure I've ever had currywurst.

But my vote is for spicy Italian sausage.

I may take the bull by the horns and try the currywurst on my grill this weekend.  The butchershop i lifted that pic from in the OP is only 15 mins from Chateau MB.

Quote
Currywurst (German: [ˈkœʁiˌvʊɐ̯st] (About this soundlisten)[1]) is a fast food dish of German origin consisting of steamed, and fried pork sausage (German: Bratwurst) typically cut into bite-sized chunks and seasoned with curry ketchup, a sauce based on spiced ketchup or tomato paste topped with curry powder, or a ready-made ketchup seasoned with curry and other spices. The dish is often served with fries.

Was it the curry or the ketchup that caught your eye?

You're not sure?  Currywurst??

Any link with an orangy tint - yup, spicy Italian.

MB: bratwurst is German, as in sauerkraut and buxom blondes.  Trying to force a Teutonic-Indian hybrid is getting too far over the culinary skis especially with something as robust and hearty as German cuisine.  Take it from me; one time I went to this German-Chinese place, Adolf Chang's.  Food wasn't bad but only an hour later I was hungry for power.
