This is the type of excrement that infuriates me. If he does the slide and a defender plays to put him down, it’s a 15 yard flag. If they ease up to make sure they don’t get a flag, dude fakes the slide and gets a bunch of additional yards.
i don't think that's what happened here. if you take a look, homie is still running while #45 is just standing there motionless and lead footed assuming the QBs going to slide before he even starts to slide, just because he's standing there in front of him and assumes the QB is going to slide. as the qb begins to slide he sees that defender has been doing absolutely nothing other than standing motionless and thinks against it, and scores a TD as a result. that's all on the defender for being lazy
