If I remember right Toni Braxton was instrumental in breaking up the mid 90s Dallas Mavericks when they had Jason Kidd and some other young guys who were thought to be an up and coming team. I don't think Kidd was involved. Toni later was hooked up with Curtis Martin when he played for the Jets, I think.

If it is, I hope the football world is big enough to see past who he was to who he is today. Everyone knows he has a past and even by NFL standings he seems to have had a really tough upbringing; he seems to have worked really hard to put that behind him, and it would be a shame to see the pitchforks come out in this instance.

If my guess is actually right, it will be absolutely absurd if people really think that smoking crack (or doing any kind of drug) is "five times as bad" as Ray Rice punching his wife in the face.

I hope if its real its just drugs or something. The hype suggests it should be more along the lines of him punching out someone and kicking them while they're on the ground.
