Quinnen played at an elite level. Sauce and Reed played at extremely high levels. And the weak spots were relatively decent most of the year.

Sauce was elite

Someone post that Sauce graphic from earlier where he’s top left by miles.

A better coverage safety and/or LB to keep TEs from destroying us and we're looking really good next year.

Depending on what we do in free agency, Brian Branch is the prospect I want most in this draft class.

Safety/Nickel/Linebacker Hybrid

We'd have to upgrade OL and WR in free agency to consider him.  The close we are to the Top 10 matters too.  It's still very early but for me, Branch is a Top 5 overall prospect but his position value will cause him to slide a bit.

He's the kind of prospect that can have a Sauce-like impact from Day 1.  Physical ballhawk, sure tackler, team leader.

Saleh/Ulbrich return in 2023 and our realstic top defensive prospect targets should be:

Brian Branch - DB - Alabama
Trenton Simpson - LB - Clemson
Drew Sanders - LB - Arkansas
Tyree Wilson - EDGE - Texas Tech
Isaiah Foskey - EDGE - Notre Dame
Siaki Ika - DT - Baylor
Bryan Bresee - DT - Clemson

It's much more likely we'll go OL or WR (maybe TE) early though.

Teams probably also don't need to throw as much against a team that scored 20 points or less in 11 games and surely spent more time just running down the clock

Though we somehow were still very middle of the pack when it came to pass attempts against us

WTF, running down the clock? It's not like we were blown out in the games we lost.
