Saleh's defense has been mostly as advertised.

I would like to see how they do when the offense can actually threaten other teams. My dad has often theorized in recent years that the Jets defense looks better statistically than it really is because teams are so unthreatened by the Jets offense that they play conservatively because they know if they don't make huge mistakes, our offense can't beat them.

But the early returns are strong, especially considering the youth and the injuries. As Q continues to ramp up, the Davis brothers return, and the young players get experience, hopefully it improves as the year goes on.

I think it’s a fairly safe bet that we just had our highest single game sack output of the season. So I’d say due to small sample size we are a bit inflated. Now if we can get another 4-5 sack performance against the Falcons I’ll be a believer in our pass rush being a true thing

I’d like to see us go against David Quessenberry every week, but that seems fairly unlikely

We were giving up 24.2 ppg before the bye and have given up 43.3 ppg since, but the standard of the offenses we've faced in the last three games is much higher. I'm not sure the bye week itself really made much of a difference.

Defense was legit this year

Quinnen played at an elite level. Sauce and Reed played at extremely high levels. And the weak spots were relatively decent most of the year.
