Depends who else is a cap casualty . If Brick renegotiates it's all possible .

Too early to tell but Snacks has been a key reason this front has looked so good since he's been given the spot

I'd get rid of Cro though that's 8 mil no cap penalty

There is definitely wiggle room, Brick and Cro first and foremost, we are off the hook for Coples 5th year option next year, then you could renegotiate Mangold this offseason as his deal will need to be reworked either this year or next.

Then you have other guys to save some money like Milliner and Pace that can/will be let go for financial savings.

It can be done, and finagling that to keep our best players needs to be a priority.

It doesn't matter where our best players play right now, we don't have that many young top talents, keep them all and as we draft some kids that become elite at their positions, we can worry about the money later.

Remember that Duff structured basically every deal from a year ago to allow us an out after two years for nothing, or almost nothing. Then you have Deckers deal which I think could also be reworked this offseason as well...

Duff will have it all figured out

Leave Decker's deal alone.  It's one of Idzik's good deals.

Leave Mangold's alone too.

Cut and resign Cro and Brick.

I'm just saying those are other deals that can be reworked to create additional cap space.

I'll have to admit I think I'd be fine either way whether they resign or trade Wilkerson. He's a great player, but we could save 15 million dollars which would allow us to fill some holes and we would potentially get a first round draft pick to help us with the future. We would still be pretty solid on the defensive line without him. It would let us be able to resign Snacks. Plus this draft is quite stacked with defensive lineman so we could still pick up another one if that is what the best player available is.

On the other hand I certainly wouldn't be upset if they were able to sign him to an extension and just let snacks walk.

We could get a pretty good deal on him now.
