Volpe: I’m watching every night. I’ve been a die-hard my whole life. I feel kind of weird still being a fan. When they signed Gerrit Cole, my reaction was completely as a fan being happy that the Yankees have the best pitcher in baseball, not because one day I’ll be his teammate.

Gerrit Cole is the fastest Yankee to 200 Ks in a season.

Seems like a lifetime ago there was a question of whether Boone and maybe even Cashman might not be here in 2022.
