I think I officially noticed this during the Rex years. Calling a move bad for literally any reason, and when that move ends with us not winning a Super Bowl they say "See! I was right!" as if not winning the Super Bowl isn't the result of 99% of moves made in the NFL.

At least when I predict failure I try to make it a little more specific e.g. "Geno will never accomplish as much as Sanchez"

"Hey Mike so sorry to hear you're leaving drive-time after December, but let me ask you, will you still be giving your picks because my friends and I have made a ton of money doing the opposite of what-"

Caller gets disconnected as an annoyed Mike asks how long he had to wait on hold to get that in...probably shouldn't have disconnected the guy if he really wanted to know the answer.

I was laughing my derriere off in my office.
