Having an apostrophe in a name seems to have gone by the wayside. That had a good run for about ten years.

Having to press the shift key on your phone keypad to get to the apostrophe every time you wanted to write their name quickly made it a bad idea for modern parents.

Next up, the ampersand.

I've always thought it was a viable batshit crazy first name.  Amp for short.  Amp the Champ.

Best name when I was coaching:

Shartavious Durant

They put "Shart" in their child's name and got away with it

This is basketball, but DePaul could have a backcourt of Javon Freeman-Liberty and Courvoisier McCauley.

Brock was a given

Not to be a 'don't be that guy' but you both probably know the Black actor (Brock Peters) who played Tom Robinson in a very moving scene from a very memorable film taken from a very memorable book that was referenced and discussed this week in the Idiot Rage thread:

Master Teague III might be my favorite football name of all time.

We should draft him in the middle rounds

Mediocre player benefiting from the team he's on, IMO. Doesn't catch or block. Isn't very fast. Isn't particularly elusive. Isn't a dominant north-south runner.

He's not bad. He's just not stand out good at anything.

He's certainly not mediocre.  He's the starting running back on one of the best teams in college football.  He is a true power back, which this team has lacked for years.

I'd take him in the fourth round, no question.

He's starting because Dobbins left, and I don't think Dobbins is great either. Teague will maybe be OK in the NFL, but I put it no higher. He will be as good as the line in front of him will allow him to be which I accept is true of most backs, but he's nothing special.

You must be high

JK Dobbins was freaking awesome

He ran for 2000 yards and 21 TDs last year

I'm talking in the NFL. Obviously he was good at Ohio.

I saw someone say that Greg Roman is like the Ryan Fitzpatrick of OCs.  He'll go somewhere, do really well, everyone will start to believe, and then he'll turn back into his former self.

That's what's happening in Baltimore right now.  They've been figured out.
