When the footage is good, it's good. If Lawrence had some great speech or seemed like a leader, Jags fans would eat up that content. Just like we eat up Jets fluff early in the year.

They're filming a live, unscripted reaction so they have content to publish. It's not like the comms team can yell cut and tell them to get another take starting from them walking down the tunnel.

Did they put it out live or did they tweet it after the fact? If it's live, you're right. If it's tweeted after, I would be like "Maybe we don't need to publish this."

Sorry, I was responding to Delevan as to why they shot the footage in the first place.

You both make fair points, I was only thinking from a player's standpoint that just prior to taking the field that they'd want to "bring it in" away from any external exposure (yes they bring it in out on the sideline later on but still, at "11:59" no matter where they're at it should be together/alone time).

That's part of why they get paid so much. Providing access is part of the job.
