would give us a look with sam under another coach/playcaller. i'm not super concerned about the fact that it would be a new offense/playbook, because the one we've had for over a year now just does not work, so the continuity doesn't mean anything for us right now.
I think it does, if only because attempting to introduce an entirely new one while the season is happening will only introduce further confusion and disconnection in the offense. I'm completely supportive of firing Gase immediately but I think that whoever takes over for the rest of the season has to be internal, because they have to know what the players know. Ideally I'd like a new HC willing to work with someone like Cooter or Jefferson as interim OC until the end of the season, introduce some additional plays and wrinkles to the 2020 playbook, and crucially actually call the right plays on a Sunday.
