JJ Pegues was recruited as a DT/TE and Auburn is letting him play Wildcat QB

6'2 300

If he were a freak athlete type of 6'2" 300lbs a la Aaron Donald then it would be interesting, but look at the tape. He's built like a traditional tackle and he runs like it, he just happens to have a decent arm. He might run the odd gadget play in college but he's not going to be anything particularly exceptional and even if he makes it to the NFL, his arm won't.

He most certainly does not run like many high school tackles.

The kid is 300 pounds and runs a 4.8 at 17 years old.  Freak athlete.

I can only go by the video that was linked in the article, and he was running like a big fat kid.

Was he? He bounced through a couple of tackles by virtue of being so much bigger than his opponents, and then ran without another defender in view until he crossed the line. Were they blocked? Did they just not fancy it? Have a look at this one:

That's not him beating opponents with his athleticism, that's him just being bigger than them. 6'2" 300lbs is an unremarkable size in college and NFL football, I imagine you'll get good odds that he amounts to absolutely nothing at the next level up and doesn't make it anywhere near the NFL.

He’s definitely out-sprinting people in Badger’s clip, but maybe we shouldn’t start making assumptions regarding the athleticism of a player we didn’t know existed until a couple of hours ago.

I feel like we've seen enough overactive pituitarys bullying high school kids on tape to know by now that it virtually never translates to anything at the next level.

The overall talent pool will catch up to him in college.  It's like that one hot Italian girl in your 8th grade class who was rocking serious T&A before anyone else and then years later (esp. after a few Bambinos) turned into a run-of-the-mill mustachioed cow.

edit: overall luv Italian babes

Chris Christie got better, we're all safe.

It got into his lungs but was unable to travel around his body via his bloodstream because it hasn't yet mutated in a way that will allow it to attach itself to gravy.

Everyone has their own built-in defenses. I use a mix of rice, Jameson and weed and haven't even had a sniffle, despite delivering food throughout this thing in a "high risk area".

I think I have established beyond any medical doubt that Canadian beer is an optimal prophylactic for covid.
