Jets did not sign CB Logan Ryan

CB Logan Ryan, appearing just now on @gmfb, wouldn’t tip his hand on where he might sign. Asked about the #Jets, he said they “make sense” because of location. (Grew up in NJ, attended Rutgers.) But added he’s still “open for business.”

So probably we've made an offer and he wants someone to beat it.

I don't blame Logan Ryan for wanting to drive up his value....but i appreciate that JD sticks to his financial guns as well.

Ryan would be an upgrade on what we have, but our secondary is already loads better than it was last year and if Hall can be the talent that we think he is then him, Desir and Poole is not a bad starting group.

We have depth, it's just not necessarily that good. I'm not opposed to signing Ryan at all and think it would be a big upgrade, I was just saying that I have more confidence in our corners this year than I did last year.

Logan also gave up the most yards and TDs in the slot as well last year. I’m OK if JD chooses to stick to his price.

He probably doesn't want to come here unless he has no other close offer from a team that's closer to the playoffs.  Doug probably gave him an offer and he's just checking if anything else comes along. I'm completely guessing and I'm probably full of excrement.
