They must have been fighting each other off for the opportunity to make their boomstick go blasty blasty at something living.
Sounds like Bo going to a public restroom with ScotlandJet.

Neatly overlooking the abject failure and unelectability of Corbyn.
He's polling worse than Corbyn. You were wrong.

Starmer's last net satisfaction score was -29 which ain't great, but Corbyn hit -60 at one point which is the lowest of any party leader in the last 45 years.

Corbyn was probably the hardest hit victim of this pathetic and miserable right wing trope of "if you don't support Israel's illegal occupation and express any sympathy with displaced Palestinians you're an anti-semite", and the UK voting populace is in large part motivated by small minded pettiness, greed, selfishness and delusion, so I'm not saying for a moment that Corbyn was a bad guy or that I don't have sympathy with a number of his positions. But he was completely unelectable. He comes from a long line of unelectable Labour leaders such as Foot and Kinnock; the trade unions can't carry an election any more and appealing to the left wing loses you the massive middle.

There's a reason that Blair was the only successful Labour leader in my lifetime. Wishing the UK had a greater sympathy with socialist causes will not make it so.

Most of the latest polls have Labour 3-5 points behind in current voting intentions. In the last election Corbyn handed the Conservatives their biggest victory since Thatcher in '87.

I understand why don't like Starmer, but facts don't care about your feels.

Pretty funny Starmer might underperform a guy who endured sabotage from his own party and far more hostile media. I thought he was going to own the Tories with his sharp wit and nice haircut?

The British obsession with supporting the absolute scum that form the current government is astonishing. Starmer was never going to do it overnight, and he might never be able to do it; after the Red Wall collapsed under Corbyn and they lost some traditional Labour strongholds that should never have been in play in the first place, it probably can't be recovered with the middle ground alone. He's definitely not underperforming Corbyn though, he's attempting to repair the wreckage Corbyn left behind.

The UK has to go through some quite extraordinary pain, I think, in order to realise that Brexit was a planned disaster engineered from the outside by multiple interested parties for the benefit of very few who actually live there. That will be what brings down the Tories, not Starmer or Corbyn. The question will be what builds in its place and I'm pretty sure that Corbyn's socialist utopia isn't a realistic plan.

Your window to blame Corbyn for anything closed a long time ago. He was sabotaged from within and you ate it up.

Where Labour is now compared to where they were under Corbyn is a significant improvement. He was guilty of driving the division in the party by attempting to force it back into its legacy of failure - I think that some of things that were said about and done to him from both inside and out were utterly distasteful and shameful, and I absolutely did not eat them up, but I won't try and pretend to be sad about the Blairite centrist factions winning out.

IMO the Labour Party should split off the far left factions into a new party and the centrists absorb the Lib Dems, who are something of a busted flush these days, and run as the centre-left party they were always most successful as. Starmer already got rid of a couple of the biggest clowns like Williamson.

Corbyn was driving the bus, had his brakes cut and got t-boned, and you blame him for the wreckage. Sad.
