Miami's Greg Rousseau, the top EDGE prospect for 2021, opted out

So did the top ILB prospect, Penn State's Micah Parsons

Hopefully he's our second round pick

It sure would be fun to get something stupid like Ja'marr Chase, Creed Humphrey and Rondale Moore with our first 3 picks...
Need a new one for a new board...

Wonder how opting out will affect Rousseau's draft position. I only mention him specifically because I would love to see the Jets draft him when Jenkins walks.

It shouldn't impact his draft position.

Jaylen Waddle vs. Rondale Moore vs. Tutu Atwell is going to be a really fun draft debate.

They are all so good after the catch.

Penei Sewell SZN
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

But I'm so happy the nasty social media guy has gone because those draft picks played so well today.

Adams picks are in '21 and '22.  I guess you're making a funny with the actual picks themselves.

I'm just bored of the whole jam tomorrow mindset, the excitement over trading good players for future picks and saving cap space so we can have a good team next year. If it ever freaking happened I might be a bit more sympathetic to the idea.

That said, Maye and McDougald were decent so it is a bit facetious.

Honestly, the way the team played today makes the Adams trade look even better in my opinion. Adams wasn't the difference between a win and a loss. And with extra draft picks, hopefully we can finally start making significant investments on the offensive side of the football so that Darnold or whoever else can have success.

Plus, like JE said, Maye and McDougald played well. Maybe we shouldn't have drafted safeties with each of the first two picks in the same draft.
