I was comparing Paterno and O'Brien to the Popes, actually. Although it would be better if the new bloke in the City Of Gold had come straight after JPII.

Paterno is an excellent comparison to the Popes, they all old men that are revered by millions for nothing other then letting child molesters and faggots run rampant and lastly and most importantly they're dead.

Well Westhoff also made it somewhat clear that hes interested.

I think the Kotwica hate is overrated. Our roster was just a sloppy mess. Long as special teams is improved next year I could give a freak who the new ST coach is. Just kinda sucks when youre spoiled for so long where Westy was constantly having us be one the premier special teams units in the league

Not what I said.

I said I dont like the idea of not bringing Kotwica back. The guy learned under Westy and I wouldve liked to see him at least get another year. The roster was horrible the year before and special teams struggled under Westhoff who is a great coach, so id like to see our new GM get at least another year to improve ST for him.

But I dont give a crap about Kotwica enough to complain about letting him go, especially if we improve.
