This is a super deep WR class and we can land a great prospect in R3, but I think we need to bite in Round 2 to land something close to resembling a #1 for Sam.

Thoughts?
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

Outside of maybe Higgins I don't know if anyone you swing at will resemble a #1 in the offense anymore than someone like Crowder would.

If someone like Gross-Matos is around and Higgins is not, I wouldn't want to pass, especially with two thirds

Guys develop or excel in the right NFL scheme or with a good QB, or players like Michael Thomas, JuJu, Davante Adams, etc would have been drafted earlier

Last years WR class is a great example as well

Higgins and Mims are my hopes at WR right now, but I think that both in the first 10 picks of round 2.

The real question is, if one of them makes it to Chicago at 43 (who has to be very interested in trading down) would we go up and get him?

Why?

I'd take him over Michael Pittman Jr.

Freak athlete. Limited production, and I just don't buy him as being able to play with that athleticism we saw at the combine. I am really hopeful somebody buys into him ahead of us, letting a Higgins or Mims fall in our laps.

Limited production?  He had over 1000 yards and 13 TDs last season as Notre Dame's #1 option.

I was bored and did a mock draft for rounds 2 and 3
Traded my 4th rd pick to move up to 40
40. Tee Higgins
68. Amik Robertson
79. Robert Hunt

No one is softer than Quincy Enunwa.  Not even Marcus Maye.

Maye played an entire season, Enunwa barely played a full game.
