What's worse for us in this scenario?

Perriman
Crowder
Reagor
Smith
Herndon
Griffin

The team desperately lacks height at wideout.  Hodgins and Johnson are both big targets, but are those players worth a shot this early?

Jenkins
Okwara
Basham

OLB is a mess too.  Maccagnan really did a horrible job building depth anywhere other than DL and ILB.

I think Edge is worse. Add in the fact there is more quality depth at WR than edge in this draft, I’m more comfortable waiting for a WR in round 5 than a second edge.

I think it’s also safe to say whatever WR we draft at this point will be less of an immediate impact player (with those in front of him) where as the edge guy would be in rotation from day 1. Given we have 1 starting OLB on a 1 year deal, this might be the best plan. Especially since we can get another big WR later. I think Johnson would be there in round 5, even if Hodgins is a superior player.

I really think Johnson is going to be a damn good red zone weapon. Not sure what he will bring outside the red zone though, and that’s why I think he isn’t going before the mid 5th
Need a new one for a new board...

This mock just solidifies my belief that CB will be the first defensive position we address (whether that's round 2 or 3)....there is no value there right now and our CB situation is a disaster

I vote Bryan Edwards to add some size to the WR core.

Bryan Edwards went at the top of the 3rd round to Cincy

If we take defense here (which I’m ok with) we should extend the draft to 5 rounds

Some pretty good receivers flew off the board before our pick. That sucks.

I guess I'll vote Hodgins since I want some size at receiver

Hard to argue against it. But man our roster is a struggle at certain spots

I expect Douglas will be very active in FA post draft to try and fill some of our undoubtedly remaining holes. Quite a few of the guys on the market now will still be there after the draft. We could bring in rotational Edges and CBs if the guys we draft don’t fill the slots

I don't watch anything like as much CFB as most of you so at this stage I'm basically picking Big 10 and SEC players because they're the ones I know, but I love Davon Hamilton at this point in the draft. I don't know if Philly even need him but he's one of those guys who always seems to be making his presence known whenever I watch OSU games.

A venerable draft sage suggested channeling my inner Mike Nugent and going 'kicker' and while tempted I ended up going with A.J. Dillon, a change of pace bruiser to go with Devin Singletary.  Interesting to note that Dillon posted a better 40 time (4.53) than did Singletary.

Wow I love the AJ Dillon to the Bills pick. Who knows if he’ll be a good nfl player but I’d roll the dice on him. I was never too high on Derrick Henry in the NFL because of playstyle (and thought he was a Bama system product) and he’s proved power runners can succeed in the right situation. Bills are the perfect fit with their offensive style and singletary to complement him

Also, New London CT STAND UP

AJ Dillon is someone I’ve actually watched a decent amount of - I talk out of My derriere about a lot of other prospects. Didn’t watch as much of him last season, but he kinda reminds me a bit of a smoother LeGarrette Blount.

Also, College bias, but also reminds me of a bigger/more powerful/athletic version of Andre Williams. He flamed out with the Giants
