Jaylon Johnson
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

By my count we have voted as follows for pick 79.

Hunt - 5 (Heismanberg,Libero,AndrewRyan,MBGreen, Jumbo)
Johnson - 4 (Sir, SFD, Shellder, casman02,
Lewis - 1 (Reuben)

But both Andrew Ryan and I could go either way. I think the OL is more important right now, which is why I think Hunt get my vote, but I can definitely see the argument that Johnson is the better player, and possibly at a bigger position of need right now.

I've got the next two picks so I'll do it.

Las Vegas's DL should be pretty well stocked now after taking Kinlaw in the first and now Weaver.

Felt Dobbins was good value at that spot for Detroit, was shocked he made it past the Rams.

Kerryon Johnson and Bo Scarbrough are made of glass, he could easily end up as the starter for them his rookie year.

It’s excellent value. I would hope if he’s there at 79 the Jets are strongly considering him. I love the way that guy runs

If we take a running back on day 2 I will be deeply unimpressed.

As long as we get Sam protection, and guys that can make plays, that’s how we will “win” the draft this year.

We need guys who can keep Sam alive, and guys who can make chunk plays and score with the ball on their hands. If the best guy to do that is a RB, that’s fine with me.

We do have LeVeon Bell. But give his salary, and his production last year, I think most of us would be very surprised if he returns next year unless there is a major restructure or he goes absolutely bananas this season to the tune of 1500+ yards from scrimmage and 15+ scores. Since most of us don’t expect that to be the case, we need a young back for the future, and this class has quite a few potential studs in it.

My personal favorite value is likely to be Cam Akers. But any of Dobbins, Akers or even Edwards-Helaire at 79 could be really impressive value for us, even if we have more pressing needs for “right now.” If the board falls the right/wrong way (depending on your POV) it might be a damn good thing we took a back this year so we won’t need to spend a high pick on a guy next year when it is a much more pressing need.

Have to say I'm pretty happy with the Raiders' draft.
