The two main things I don't like about Mims:
He's two years old than all of the other top receivers and he can only play outside
But he's a really good player and I wouldn't be upset if we drafted him.
I love Mims as a player. Him being older I think is going to be used against him as a "tie breaker" in some of these WR battles teams are having internally. It's one of the only reasons I think he might make it to 48.
As for only being an Outside guy, lucky for us, that is exactly what we need. But again it's another reason a team may opt for Reagor, Ayiuk, Shenault over Mims.
If we trade back from 11, and the big 3 are gone, I hope we are able to tab Jefferson as I think he's going to be special as well. But Mims has the athleticism to have potentially the highest ceiling in the draft. Now him reaching his absolute maximum potential is not as good as guys like Jeudy, Lamb and Ruggs, but if he were to, his ceiling is really freaking high. I think he's the best possible target for us at 48.
The more I see mocks play out, the more I feel like the value for our needs isn't there. I really really do not think we will pick at 48. There is value a few picks above us, and about 10 picks below. So in my eyes the pick we are least likely to stick and pick this year is at 48.
