I hate Reagor because he sounds like a GOT character, so I vote Shenault.

I vote Shenault. Seems most like the type of receiver Darnold could utilize.

The Jets are on the clock.

Laviska Shenault vs. Jalen Reagor vs. KJ Hamler

Reagor over Hamler, but not by much.  We already have Laviska Shenault, his name is Quincy Enunwa.

I'd like to get Pittman in the 3rd.

I was really hoping Mims would slide.

Shenault has so many exciting possibilities. But I don’t trust his injuries. And I would go Reagor over Hamler.

That said I can’t believe I’m saying it, but I might pass on a WR here to finish the OL rebuild. Hennessy, Jackson and Hunt are still on the board. And I would love a WR pairing in round 3 of Pittman and Edwards....

Shenault is not better than Reagor

I would hope we would try to trade up for Mims if he fell that far but in this spot I'll take Reagor.

Jonah Jackson is the best of the three and the most versatile.  He can play both guard spots and center.

The two main things I don't like about Mims:

He's two years old than all of the other top receivers and he can only play outside

But he's a really good player and I wouldn't be upset if we drafted him.

I try to find comparisons or positional value battles in each draft to weigh certain players.

Shenault's is Lynn Bowden, who teams can get much later (late third, early fourth).

Jack of all trades, but masters of none.  Shenault is far more of a project as a receiver than I'd hoped he'd be at this point.  Not a good route runner.

I realized late he was still on the board.

Jackson is my selection at 48 in this scenario. I think damn good WR talent will be there later. Top IOL guys, to finish the rebuild there won't.

I'll go with Reagor...but i was looking at Claypool for awhile (6'4 RZ threat, ran a 4.42)

I sort of disagree here, because there's some sneaky good guards/centers that should be available in the middle rounds.

Looking at the players Douglas has signed, I think he's going to try to find offensive linemen in those rounds and as UDFAs.

He's a good one too, but closer to that third tier (with Pittman Jr. and DPJ).
