Ezra Cleveland and Josh Jones are good tackles that could be available Day 2.
My concern is that Andrew Thomas is just a "good" tackle, to me more of a right tackle in the NFL. Lamb, Ruggs, and Jeudy are potentially elite receivers. But I do buy the argument that the wideout class is way deeper.
I’ve been kicking around the idea of us trading up from 48 into the late 20s to early 30s to get a sliding prospect either at OL (if we go WR early) or WR if we go OL early.
Scenario 1 we keep our picks
11: Andrew Thomas / Cedee Lamb
48: Brandon Ayiuk / Austin Jackson
68: Robert Hunt
79: Michael Pittman Jr.
Scenario 2 we trade up from 48 to 29 for an OL
11: Cedee Lamb
29: Cesar Ruiz / Josh Jones
79: Michael Pittman Jr.
Scenario 3 we trade up from 48 to 29 for a WR
11: Andrew Thomas
29: Justin Jefferson / Denzel Mims
79: Michael Pittman Jr. / Robert Hunt/ Nick Harris/ Tyler Biadasz
Obviously you can substitute anyone you want at 79 in each spot
Too me, scenario 2 gives us the best combo of talent. But man if Josh Jones were definitely going to be there at 29 I’d be excited to go WR then go back up for him, I just don’t think he will be there.
