Lol JFC JE, equating people with vermin now? Talk about extreme rhetoric.
Yeah, a friend of mine pulled me up for referring to the willingly unvaccinated as plague rats the other day, and I agreed with her that it's unfair. The rats that spread the bubonic plague didn't know that they were spreading it, and they weren't being presented with a free and easy way of not doing it. So it is pretty unfair on the rats to compare them to the absolute scum who insist on refuting science and sticking their middle finger up to society.
Again, as I said before. Any objective look at the population re: the unvaccinated would determine that this is not a red vs blue issue. Subsections of both voting blocs have been resistant to the vaccine.
And as I already said, the two do not equate given the massive difference in size. How many left wing politicians and local councillors and radio hosts have you heard of dying from covid after months of exhortations to their constituents and listeners to not get vaccinated?
I do know for all the talk about Trump supporters being "cultists" that he's repeatedly told people to get vaccinated, so perhaps the rigid adherence to what the man says from his most ardent supporters is a bit overstated?
Yes, which is why I didn't drag him specifically, despite his initial poor response when in charge of treating it like a big nothingburger long after it was clear it was anything but, he has been fairly consistent in his messaging. Although look where that got him q.v. his rally the other day:
"Hey, we have great vaccines, you should take them....."
BOOOOOOOOOO
".....but you don't have to, it's your choice, it's all fine, muh freedoms......."
YAAAAAAAAAAY
".....but still you should take them, they're good......."
BOOOOOOOOOO
".....but if you don't want to it's fine"
YAAAAAAAAAAAY
