I was in a Wal-Mart upstate on July 2 and I think every single person I saw had a mask on.

Kids aren't as much of an issue as them going home and freaking up their parents and grandparents.  But I'm probably wrong because it can't spread from the first person who gets it.

Researchers working on the vaccine say they expect to begin rolling out the vaccine from October this year, months ahead of experts’ estimates that it would take until at least 2021 to find an effective injection. More than 20 vaccines are in human trials, and, if proven effective protection against the virus, are expected to play a key role in helping life to get back to normal, protect frontline workers, and save lives.

Companies have every incentive to be positive about their vaccines for $$$ and free advertising.

Newspapers want to get clicks because the public wants these articles.

The public wants these articles because we all want to have optimism this will end soon.

Maybe I am cynical, but wake me up when a vaccine is close.

Apparently NY has a list of 31 states with mandatory 2 week quarantine periods when entering NY

And it seemingly is completely not enforced. Maybe for people flying into NY it's a challenge, but for people driving and what not, its basically a joke.
