Saw on reddit that people who were there said she stood in line outside with the mask on for an hour.  Then she took it off inside and just idly roamed the aisles waiting for someone to confront her.  Cue scene.

Said it was opening day, so I can sort of see that if you have a boner for Trader Joe's and it just opened it your area.  I wouldn't wait in line.

Trader Joes tend to get packed for whatever reason. My local Giant never has a line. I tried going to Whole Foods once but gave up after I saw the produce section which held the entire population of the store.

Both the TJs by my home and by my office are generally super crowded all the time, enough that I avoid them at all costs, and I actually like the store.

this is my situation. i would prefer to shop at trader joe's but the line is always fckin bonkers. there are 2 TJ's in center city and one in a suburb just outside philly, and they're always packed to the brim. it's not that deep; i don't miss anything grocery shopping at shoprite/fresh grocer/acme

Its because you get to be a little uppity queynte and tell everyone you shop at Trader Joe's. There's nothing like an 8 dollar jar of peanut butter

Sometimes they have unique baked products (breads and excrement) but trader Joe's doesn't hold a candle to whole foods

Whole foods is definitely much more mainstream. It's basically a fancier version of Wegmans

Though to be fair I don't go to trader Joe's or Whole Foods but I'd definitely take whole foods over trader Joe's anyday
