Austin is hilarious right now.

We drove down to the southside this morning to grab some coffee and there's still a fair amount of protesters around the capitol building. 

There's a huge sign downtown near the bar and restaurant strip that says "People Over Profit" and the majority of those businesses will not open to the public.  They will only serve take out until at least June 1.  These are the places that will get my money this month and beyond.

The medical school component of my facility, which includes all medical researchers (including one's researching covid19) is cutting salaries across the board by 20%.

Cutting the salary of someone literally researching a treatment/vaccine for COVID19 by 20% is such a major freak you lol.

And I'd wager it's a safe bet that many other major academic medical centers are doing likewise.

Could see a major brain drain in certain regions in the near future
