Vaccine will probably take quite some time but what we need is the antibody testing in the short term
I'm not convinced on antibody testing as being immune to it doesn't prevent you from spreading it, and I don't like the idea of a two tier society where we only allow people with proven resistance to go back to work.
Prevention and eradication is ideal, but if in the much shorter term we can come up with some way of treating people so that they don't end up in hospital when they do contract it then that has to be the optimal route IMO. Whether that be some combination of existing drugs that prove efficacious or whether it's one of these antibody treatments that sound promising and like they could be approved by late summer I don't know, but we need one of these things to happen.
