25th might even be generous.

I've been complaining about the OL since 2011

Brick has been in a slow but steady decline since 2010

Mangold has plummeted since 2011. I wrote off 2012 as injury, but he look pedestrian again this year.

And it has nothing to do with inferior OGs by him. He seldom wins 1 on 1s like he used to.

And those are our two best OL.

There's no need evaluating in depth.

Colon was the stopgap we thought he'd be and needs to be upgraded

Howard is a B grade player whosl is good enough to start and not worry about breaking bank.

Winters took his lumps and struggled in pass blocking ad expected coming out of college. Progressed a lot in run blocking by the end of the yr.

We need a new starting OG to replace Colon, another for depth, and a replacement for Mangold or Brick needs to be groomed yesterday

It's the depth part that worries me. I think Mangold will rebound if Winters improves or we get a decent guard somewhere, but he's 30 and unless he does a Kevin Mawae his best years are behind him. Same for Brick. Maybe one of the 1000 projects they drafted last year for the line pan out, but we cannot start next season with Caleb Schaulderaff as our emergency policy.
