Can't believe I'm saying this given recent history, but tight end is actually one of the only position groups where I feel great about the depth moving forward.

Will Levis at #3?

Admittedly some years have a large number of QB-needy teams that often push the 'overvaluation' of such prospects, e.g. the 2011 draft (Jake Locker/Blaine Gabbert/Christian Ponder).  Don't see that being the case this year.  jm2cts

Will Levis is a worse version of Ryan Nassib

This class is very similar to 2011 and 2013

Amazing that Geno is the most successful QB out of the 2013 NFL Draft.

based on where we're projected to pick, I like the following prospects for us:

Anton Harrison - OT - Oklahoma
Jordan Addison - WR - USC
Jaxon Smith-Njigba - WR - Ohio State
Darnell Wright - OT - Tennessee
Michael Mayer - TE - Notre Dame
Darnell Washington - TE - Georgia

Trenton Simpson - LB - Clemson
JL Skinner - S/LB - Boise State
Noah Sewell - LB - Oregon

Michael Mayer....Cato might die.

Michael Mayer....Cato might die.

He'd immediately be our second best weapon in the passing game behind Garrett Wilson.

Mayer could have a Jeremy Shockey like impact.

I'm not the one that needs convincing.

Honestly, my biggest objection would be tying up that many resources in the TE position.

An OT or a WR would be improving a position actually suffering from problems.

Also, Mayer's two favorite things are probably rape and witness intimidation.
