Michael Warren - RB - Cinn

Player I’ve had my eye on for a couple years. Doesn’t really jump off the screen but he’s a very solid RB. I’m not comparing them physically/stylistically, but James Conner comes to mind as a college player that always looked solid, and then took a big jump in the NFL because he landed in the right system. Maybe Warren could have the same type of impact if he finds the right home.

Anyways, is he a mid round prospect? Late rounds? UDFA target?

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/28397998/the-incredible-comeback-tennessee-offensive-lineman-trey-smith

So, as Smith walks onto the gridiron Thursday night against Indiana in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl (7 p.m. ET, ESPN and ESPN App) in what could be his final game in a Tennessee uniform, he will do so with the satisfaction that he didn't just return to football, but he also came back as one of the most dominant players in the country at his position. Smith showcased the same form that made him ESPN's No. 1 overall prospect when he signed with the Vols in 2017, earning him a consensus first-team All-SEC selection and garnering some All-America mention.

...
Smith has yet to finalize his decision on whether he will declare for the NFL draft. He has gathered some information from NFL clubs, but has been adamant about not wanting to discuss his future in any detail. He is scheduled to graduate in May with a degree in sports management and a minor in business.

“ Smith is a former five-star recruit, starting at Tennessee from day one at guard. He’s battled blood clots in his lungs over the past two offseasons, forcing him to the sidelines during offseason activities. Smith battled back to play in a handful of games in 2018 before the blood clots returned, ending his season. He played in every game in 2019, starting the final nine games at guard.”

“ With that top notch play during his junior year, the NFL is obviously interested. But his blood clot issues have complicated the situation, likely costing him a chance to be a high pick. Most mock drafts have Smith landing in the second or third round, simply because of the risk factor.”

Please find space in the draft for this guy.  Big-time size and talent without the Solomon Kindley weight issues.

UT's Jauan Jennings (big YAC WR) to return in the 2nd half from his 1/2 game suspension (stupidly stepped on a Wake Forrest punt returner's head).

Jennings is a great player

Michigan's Ben Bredeson is the only interior player that I might like more than Trey Smith

Why is the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl being played on a pool table?

Nothing better than getting Jonathan Vilma’s breakdown on Joe Burrow at 7AM.

Vilma is in NO covering the game, wonder if he’ll be on TV a lot today.

Gave up on command center. Regular broadcast it is. Wish they had the one with no commentary.
