Yeah, I used far less scientific phrasing, but get-it-out-of-your-system was meant to reflect that it's hard to complain when this team has been absolutely dominating and was due for a bad day

I went to Mo’s retirement game too, the year before. Absolutley amazing game/crowd, but the Jeter game had a playoff vibe and you got a sense that the stadium was packed by some real ultimate diehard fans

I’ve never been at a sporting event that had the tension of his at bats that game. It was pretty wild.
