Talk about getting Wally Pip'd. Dude was runner-up for Rookie of the Year, got hurt the following spring, now might have no job.
I really think his biggest value to the Yankees at this point is in a trade before spring training. If he's coming into camp just fighting for at-bats, his value will plummet, especially if he struggles with a new position.
He's a fun to watch hitter, but if you can't get him ABs, you're doing a disservice to both him and the team.
