Turns out the new training staff was drilling Judge in the ribs with gut punches

Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

They think it happened in September...

But they want to give it a couple of weeks to see how much it heals...

Because it's already showing signs of healing...

What's it been doing for 6 months? Something doesn't add up.

The root cause is from September. It was exacerbated and became painful recently.

Judge said that he felt “a crack and pop” in his chest on the diving catch attempt last September. With the postseason coming, he had a shot and kept playing. He thought it had healed by November when he resumed workouts.

Judge had a normal offseason of workouts but felt the pain pretty much from Nov on: "I thought it was something I can warm up & work through & be fine by the time spring training starts. If I would have known it was a rib, maybe I would have done things a little bit differently"

El Gary not at camp. Seeing a doctor for a fever. Was already feeling back pain.

The health of this team is really making it hard for me to enjoy the Astros tour of shame.

Apparently we hired the Mets training staff.

I'm gonna go SFD on this and say I don't blame the medical staff. Firstly, many of the injuries we're seeing are holdovers from last year, but beyond that, it's starting to appear that some of the guys on this team are just (at least partially) made of glass.
