Played a long time in the 60s and 70s, started in Super Bowl III, passed away a few years ago at 74.

Would be better for the guy to be alive to see it.

I'm guessing the Jets might retire #75 now, that's been the precedent. They haven't done Mawae yet but he just got in and wasn't a Jet his whole career.
