Don't care about them not electing to go for it there.

I'm aware, but 16 is only a 2-score game if you get the 2-pt conversions. You could also go for 2 the first two times, then kick the extra point the last time (or go for 2 the last time).

This way, you get the information early on whether or not you can actually convert two 2-pt conversions. That knowledge allows you to manage the game differently down the stretch.

Keep yourself in the game as long as you can. Kicking the PAT and getting within 2 scores is better than missing the 2 and staying down 3 scores. Yes, you have to make them either way once you're down 30.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

Derek and I debating a strategy for winning is purely hypothetical, of course.

We need 2 more TDs to even tie, and the offense hasn't put up that tally all season.

Have to keep our minds sharp for if/when we're ever in a competitive game again.

4th and 13, game over if you don't convert, and it's a 3 yard pass to robby anderson ok lol

Who cares about "keeping yourself in the game." Try to win. The best chance to actually win is to go for 2 early. You don't play to "keep yourself in the game," you play to win the game.

If you miss the 2-point conversion the first time, you know you need to play for 3 more scores, and you'll play accordingly. But if you miss the 2-point conversion the last time, you probably didn't leave yourself enough time to have another possession because you're playing it as if you only need 1 score. You want the extra information.

Falk cant throw it farther than 3 yards.  It's science.

At least we're done with Foxborough for the year.
